June 2 – Tours: Independence Hall, Betsy Ross House, Ben Franklin’s House, Carpenter’s Hall, Reading Terminal Market
June 3 – Valley Forge: National Historical Park tour with stops at Muhlenberg Huts, Washington’s Headquarters, and Von Steuben Statue
June 4 – Princeton: tour Princeton Battlefield State Park; tour with Historical Society of Princeton Walking tour guide including Bainbridge House, Princeton University campus, Einstein home, Morven and Palmer Square; walking tour of Princeton Cemetery
June 5 – National Constitution Center for Carol Berkin lecture; presentation of the Center’s Civic Education Framework with method for immediate classroom use; Freedom Rising (live theatrical performance); guided tour of exhibit; instruction on distance learning opportunities available at the Center
June 6 – Franklin Institute; Wagner Free Institute of Science
June 7 – Washington’s Crossing and Monmouth Battlefield
June 8 – Visit to old church for the architectural design and cemetery; The Philadelphia Museum of Art
June 9 – Amish Country: trip to Intercourse, PA to Mennonite Information Center for film presentation about the Amish; Coach tour; Amish meal in the evening
June 10 – American Philosophical Society and Atwater Kent Museum; Gallery tour and document viewing in library; Walking tour of historic Dock Creek
June 11 – Lectures and Self-Guided Tours: Robert Engs lecture; David Waldstreicher lecture; Underground Railroad; Franklin Court; and Elfrid’s Alley
June 12 – Winterthur in Delaware (DuPont Estate); Lecture at the University of Delaware; Library Tour; Garden tram tour back to museum; Tour of House; Maker and Marketplace Exercise
June 13 – Gettysburg: Gettysburg Battlefied Visitors Center; Dobbin House Tavern for lunch (built 1776); Battlefield Tour
June 14 – Return to Denver
